Description: Radio Receiving Set FRR-23 is designed for fixed station operation in the low- frequency bands.

Set is rack mountable. The frequency range is divided into five bands with continuous tuning throughout each band.

This equipment is designed for shore communication and for ground based installations. The basic receiver is a

double superhetrodyne type having two stages of rf amplification ahead of the first mixer and local oscillator.

This set is basically similar to Radio Receiving Set SRR-13. First IF 1600 kHz. Second IF: 200 kHz.
